The trip, day by day
- Day 1 · Arrival in Tenerife
Direct Vueling flight from Valencia, landing at Tenerife North at 14:00. Pick up the car at the airport and, in just under an hour on the motorway, arrive in Costa Adeje. Afternoon by the pool and a stroll along Fañabé beach.
- Day 2 · Loro Parque
Full day at Loro Parque (Puerto de la Cruz): dolphins, sea lions, the penguins of Planet Penguin and the parrot show. Dinner at the hotel.
- Day 3 · Teide National Park
Drive up Mount Teide through volcanic landscapes: Roques de García, the Llano de Ucanca viewpoint and, if you like, the cable car up to La Rambleta.
- Day 4 · Beach and south coast
Beach day in Costa Adeje or a trip to Los Gigantes to see the cliffs and swim in the natural pool.
- Day 5 · The north of the island
Explore La Orotava and its historic old town, or Garachico and the natural rock pools of El Caletón. Final dinner at the hotel.
- Day 6 · Return
A last full day on the island, car drop-off at Tenerife North and arrival in Valencia at 00:30.
