What data we process and why

The data you send us through the forms (name, company or school, email, phone, contact preference and trip details such as dates, number of travellers and children’s ages) is used only to prepare and send you the proposal you request, answer your enquiries and, if you book, manage your trip. We do not use your data to send you advertising without your permission, nor do we make automated decisions that affect you.

Offers and news: only if you tick the “I agree to receive offers” box (or expressly tell us so by WhatsApp, email or at the office) will we occasionally send you travel ideas, greetings and useful reminders (for example, that your passport is about to expire) by email or WhatsApp, tailored to the trips you are interested in. We keep a record of the date you gave us permission. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying “STOP” or by writing to gestion@elviatge.com, and we will stop sending them.

Legal basis

Your consent when submitting the form and, for offers, when ticking the corresponding box (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; Art. 21 LSSI) and, if you book, the performance of the travel contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and compliance with our legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

How long we keep it

If you do not book, we keep your request for a maximum of 12 months so we can answer any questions about the proposal. If you book, for the periods required by package travel, consumer and tax regulations. Data used to send you offers is kept until you unsubscribe.

Who we share it with

Only with those who need it for your trip (airlines, hotels, wholesalers, transport companies and insurers) once you book, and with the providers that supply us with technical services as data processors:

• EmailJS: sending the website’s forms by email.
• IONOS: website and email hosting.
• Google Fonts: website fonts (your browser connects to Google to download them, which allows Google to see your IP address).

If any provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, it does so with the appropriate safeguards provided for by the GDPR (adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses). We do not pass your data on to third parties for their own purposes, unless required by law.

Cookies

This website does not use its own or third-party cookies for analytics or advertising. Only strictly necessary technical elements may be used to make the website work, and these do not require your consent.

Your rights

You can request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, restriction of or objection to its processing, and data portability, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to gestion@elviatge.com and stating which right you wish to exercise. If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
